Boomer's Bio:
 

	Current track announcer and director of racing at Yavapai Downs in Prescott Valley, Arizona
	Track announcer and television handicapper for Yavapai Downs in Prescott Valley, Arizona, having been with that track since its inception in May of 2001.
	THE "voice" of many tracks across the United States, having called races from Kentucky to Arizona, including: Players Blue Grass Downs at Paducah, KY, Retama Park in San Antonio, TX, Fair Meadows in Tulsa, OK, Agriculture Park in Columbus, NE, Wyoming Downs at Evanston, WY, the old San Juan Downs/ new Sun Ray Park in Farmington, NM, as well as the voice of The New Mexico State Fair in Albuquerque, NM for over 15 years.
	Guest announcer in Australia at both the tracks and on live Australian radio back in 1995.
	Boomer is known now as one of the biggest bettors who actively works in the business, having raised the pari-mutuel handle "significantly" in his places of employment over the years, and spends most of his down time wagering actively on simulcast tracks.
	Extensive experience in many other aspects of the horse racing business: having been a director of racing/racing secretary in Montana, a jockey agent in Arizona and Nebraska, and even as an alternate steward in New Mexico.
	A well known columnist and author, currently appearing as a guest columnist in The Prescott, AZ Daily Courier, providing a weekly column known as "Boomer from the Backstretch".
	He has provided many "AROUND THE OVAL" stories for Daily Racing Form over the course of his career, and was a national handicapper for National Raceline's "Boomer" at Arlington Park, Chicago, Ill in the late 1980's, as well as appearing as a guest handicapper and panelist in many of The Daily Racing Form's "Handicapping 101" seminars across the country.
	In addition to track announcing, Boomer currently lectures in handicapping seminars across the country, and has books on thoroughbred handicapping; 1st book covers handicapping from a-z as well as providing some great money management techniques...titled: "HOW TO TURN ANY RACETRACK INTO YOUR OWN MONEY MACHINE" (and be just one of the 2% that do) that was released on October 15, 2005.
